The Kaiapoi Brand: Words to Action

The KPA would like you to join them in the second of a series of business events to promote Kaiapoi as a visitor destination. To do this requires our community to work together as one to a common set of goals for the well being of the town.

Thursday November 14th from 7:15 am to approx 9:30 am

Riverside Community Church, 45 Charles St Kaiapoi

Who's it for?
We hope to bring iwi, business operators and community leaders together in these business events to support a community wide conversation that we further hope will turn talk into action.

Who's speaking?
Craig Rust of Business InnovatorsCraig Rust from Business Innovators will be opening the event with a presentation designed to wake us up and get our creative juices flowing to prepare attendees for their task for the morning.

Craig is a fully qualified Chartered Accountant and member of both the Chartered Accountants of New Zealand / Australia and the Institute of Directors (IoD). Craig provides ongoing Director, Chair and Advisory Board services, including regularly facilitating director level training for the IoD since 2009 around the topics of Governance, Finance and Strategy. Craig has worked as a Chartered Accountant, including in a Senior Management capacity at PricewaterhouseCoopers and received the 2005 Young Accountant of the Year Award for the Southern Region.

What are you doing?
For this second event we have compiled all the notes taken from the first event and used them to develop a series of questions and topics. Attendees will work in small groups to discuss and respond to a series of topics presented to them. The results of these responses will be collated and presented in real time for further discussion and analysis.

The objective by the end of the morning is to have identified a set of practical projects to work towards as we work to build the Kaiapoi Brand.

What does it cost?
The continental + cooked breakfast, Tea, Coffee, Muffins, and fruit juice will cost $45 per person (gst included).
Contributing to the future of our town: priceless.

How do I pay?
You can register and pay here.
