| Deans Auto Electric

Deans Auto Electric, based in Kaiapoi, has expanded to ensure that customers’ needs are met and all the auto electric requirements are completed in a timely manner so it causes minimal inconvenience.
Deans Auto Electric is owned by Dean and Tracy Inwood who have been in business for 22 years, the last 16 years at the Courtenay Drive site in Kaiapoi.
A new purpose-built workshop gives the team at Deans Auto Electric more space to work on vehicles and an additional bay allows for increased vehicle capacity, minimising downtime/delays for clients. The increased height of the building allows the team to work on trucks under cover without delay due to inclement weather.
Investing in the latest technology and diagnostic equipment allows us to work on the latest cars, but still remaining true to our roots, we also cater for the vintage or classic cars.
Deans Auto Electric doesn’t just provide auto electrical services or investigate computer diagnostic issues on private and commercial vehicles. Our scope of work expands to agricultural machinery, jet boats, caravans, mobility scooters and anything else that's got four wheels and a motor.
We provide a 24 hour mobile service for off-site work, including on-farm call outs, commercial fleet jump starts and road side support.
Deans Auto Electric is an approved Battery Town agent for over 10 years. We don't sell you a battery unless you need one.
“We offer a good, old kiwi service of making sure we listen to our clients. We don't look at people as a cash cow - it's about providing an honest service.''
