In 2004 I saw a niche opportunity and opened up my current business in the crossing shopping centre where I operated for 12 years. After the Earthquakes and the loss of our home, my wife Lisa and I decided to purchase our new home in Courtenay Drive, Kaiapoi. I have been heavily involved in the community and like to support where I can. I am passionate about what I do, and I am a very creative person. I have a passion for Electronics, Robotics, Computers, Movies, 3dPrinting, and Quizzing in the local pub quiz league.I was asked to join the KPA and be a bit of an ideasperson. I did this and now find myself in the role of Vice-Chair supporting my fellow committee members and stepping up when our elected chairperson needs my help.I have recently taken on a new challenge in life by starting to study toward a Bachelor of IT management via Distance Learning. The key thing I see in my role in the KPA is to be approachable and offer support to local business and the wider community and to support ideas and initiatives that enhance Kaiapoi as a destination. My door is always open.
