Our Executive

The Kaiapoi Promotion Association (KPA) has been an Incorporated Society since 1972 and is governed by a volunteer executive. Our membership comes from Business Operators, Residents, and Community Groups within the Kaiapoi-Tuahiwi, The Pines and Kairaki Beach, Woodend, Pegasus, Ohoka, and Ravenswood areas.

Aaron Lovelace

In 2004 I opened up my business (TechMedics) at the crossing shopping centre where I operated for 12 years. After the Earthquakes and the loss of our home, Lisa (my wife) and I decided buy our new home in Kaiapoi. A couple of years later I moved my business premises to a Hilton Street premise with room for expansion. I am passionate about IT and have a strong interest in Electronics, Robotics, Computers and 3D Printing. I am a creative person who enjoys movies and participating in the local pub quiz league. In 2019 I started a "Bachelor Of Information Technology" Degree, which I passed in 2020, with Distinction.
I like to support the Kaiapoi Community where I am able. In 2014 I was asked to join the KPA as an ideas-person and later elected to the role of Vice-Chair. I see my role on the KPA Committee as a supportive ideas-person who thinks outside the box and as an approachable KPA contact for local businesses and the wider community. I am very supportive of ideas and initiatives that enhance Kaiapoi as a destination.
My door is always open.
